National Commercial Bank is the largest bank in the country with ‘A’ category recognition from Nepal Rastra Bank. It is also the second oldest commercial bank of Nepal established under full government ownership. It was established on January 23, 1966 under the National Bank Act, 2021 under Act No. 2022 on January 10, 1966. This bank has been providing various banking services to customers in industrial, commercial, agriculture and currency transfer, capital market, consumer credit and other sectors. Rashtriya Commercial Bank has a wide working network of more than 260 branches across the country with 2600 employees. This bank has 1.7 million satisfied customers which is more for any bank in Nepal. The bank has been taking useful steps for the country’s economy.
National Commercial Bank is primarily a body that protects depositors’ investments and promotes business by facilitating business. Which accounts for the financial transactions of any business organization and is similar to all personal assets such as movable or immovable, credit, etc. Where the purchase and sale of goods and services (in monetary terms) and other related activities are included.
